Inspirational Quote
"You don't win championships by just being normal, by just being average."
- Bill Walton (b. Nov. 5, 1952) is an American retired basketball player and television sportscaster. Walton achieved superstardom playing for John Wooden's powerhouse UCLA Bruins in the early '70s, winning three successive College Player of the Year Awards, while leading the Bruins to two Division I national titles. He then went on to have a prominent career in the National Basketball Association (NBA) where he was a league Most Valuable Player (MVP) and won two NBA championships.

Network & Internet Infrastructure Upgrade - Phase I Completed
- Great news! St. Paul School qualified this year for government funding through the eRate Program. This program provides discounts to assist schools and libraries in the United States to obtain affordable telecommunications and Internet access.
- We applied and received a substantial award that has allowed us to upgrade our network and internet infrastructure. Installations were completed this week.
- This upgrade includes four new wireless access points (WAPs) and the software licenses for them, as well as two new networking switches that connect all of our electronic devices to the St. Paul network. The upgrade increases our network speed 10-fold, greatly increasing access the internet.
- St. Paul School qualifies for more eRate funding for the 2016-2017 school year, which will provide even greater improvements to our networking and telephone needs.
Archdiocese Spelling Bee 2016 Champion!
- Congratulations to Jack B in 6th grade for finishing in third place.
- This was the best finish for St. Paul in 9 years!

Book Fair News!
Our Scholastic Book Fair was a great success. All purchases benefit our school library and our students.
Thanks to all of our parent volunteers, without whom this would not have been possible, nor such a successful endeavor.
A big Thank You to Mrs. Trusty for making this happen! It was the first Book Fair at St. Paul in many, many years.

CEF Application for 2016-17 NOW thru MARCH 15th
- The 2016-17 Private School Aid Service (PSAS) tuition assistance application is available online at www.ceflou.org. We also have applications available in the office for those families who prefer to mail their information. Families only need to complete one PSAS application to be eligible for tuition assistance for all their children. The completed application, along with the $25 fee, should be submitted to PSAS on or before March 15, 2016.
- We sent an instructional flyer and application to every St. Paul family recently. Asking for tuition assistance is a very private family decision. Often families who are experiencing difficulty are reluctant to take the steps needed to request assistance but let me assure you, if this is the case the answer will be “Yes” to assistance. Last year with the help of the CEF, needs-based to tuition discounts, archdiocese voucher fund and school choice St. Paul families were awarded $151,960 in assistance.
- NOW IS THE TIME for more families to join our storied Catholic school community with 105 years of tradition.
You can also find various links or files to download that I will post from time to time as rehearsals progress.
