W-FL BOCES Social Studies and Inquiry Workshop

Learn from an inquiry expert!


Join Dr. Barbara Stripling as she invites teachers and librarians to revitalize Social Studies lessons and units that will engage students in learning through the inquiry process! Participants will learn inquiry strategies to implement in the classroom that are aligned with the NYS Social Studies Framework and Practices. Workshop will also include a presentation from Ganondagan Intrepreter Ronnie Reitter, as she draws upon local history to connect to the NYS Social Studies Framework!


Collaborative teams of teachers (classroom, LOTE, Special area), school librarians & administrators are encouraged to attend! Lunch is included.
