The Liberty Bell was to celebrate the 50th year anniversary William Penn Charter of Privileges(States original constitution).It's also associated with The Declaration of Independence,because it was rung on the 4th of July.The Liberty bell stands for liberty and freedom in the United States of America.

Some facts about The Liberty Bell

  • The Liberty Bell cracked while it was being hung up because whit it was made out of was too brittle.
  • After it was rung for George Washington's birthday,the crack widened making it unable to ring.
  • The Liberty Bell was made out of 70% of copper and 25% of tin.
