PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Happy New Year to all Lincoln families!

I want to thank our families and my staff who have returned to a very challenging week after winter break. We continue to work towards keeping our building healthy and appreciate your efforts at home as well. It takes a lot of resilience to keep climbing what seems to be a never-ending hill. While we continue to keep education in the forefront of this pandemic, we also continue to keep our eye on the most important outcome for all: a healthy new year ahead of us.

SPECTATOR GUIDELINES FOR LINCOLN ATHLETIC EVENTS

The following guidelines are in place so that families can attend athletics events at Lincoln:

  • All spectators are to be masked for the duration of their time in the building.
  • Only family members of players/performers will be admitted as spectators.
  • There is no "student section."
  • Siblings of athletes must sit with their parents.
  • Due to limited capacity in our stands, we want to prioritize our limited space for families of athletes.
  • This policy is consistent with all schools in the MSMSAC athletic conference.

Adherence to these guidelines is mandatory so that Lincoln can participate in and host athletic events as a member of the Mid-Suburban Middle School Athletic Conference during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thank you for your cooperation.

FROM OUR NURSE, MRS. SMITH

Please send a copy of your child's Covid vaccination card to the health office after your child receives dose #2 of the Covid vaccine. This information is important to have on file as students who are fully vaccinated (2 weeks post 2nd dose) do not need to quarantine if identified as a close contact (per IDPH guidelines).
