Bear Bulletin
Maire Newsletter March 25th edition
Dear Maire Families
What a fantastic month March was here at Maire! Throughout the month we had a variety of reading activities as part of March is Reading Month. We read diverse literature books for Read Across America Day. We wore our PJs and used flashlights for some fun and cozy reading. Our hallways are filled with favorite book recommendations and goals from our school-wide read aloud of The Magical Yet. Students came dressed in their words, learned how to draw some famous book characters, and had a surprise grade-level movie celebration watching The Gruffalo. We had so much fun celebrating books!
Our families shared hundreds of photos celebrating March is Reading Month with our community-based Book Bingo challenge! To see so many students reading around the community was truly amazing. We hope you enjoyed focusing on reading all month long. The prize for a Bingo will be a free ticket to a USPBL baseball game this spring. After the break we will share more info on receiving your prize code so you can pick the game you want to attend.
This week we had parent teacher conferences. Students, parents, and teachers all being on the same team is what makes Maire special. During conferences we celebrate the growth and achievement of our students, and continue to set goals and high expectations for further development. Thanks for being part of that amazing team.
We hope all families enjoy their time together over Spring Break. Hard to believe that it will be April when we return and that means only two and a half months left of school!
Sincerely,
Ryan Francis

Milk issues at lunchtime
We wanted families to know there is a potential issue getting milk for school lunches. We have been told that one big issue is they can't source the paper cartons. Due to this supply chain issue, there may be days that we are not able to serve milk. You might see juice, bottled water or milk at lunch as we deal with this issue.
Lunch help is always welcome!
