Self-Love
Love on Yourself
Here are some tips we'd like to share with you in order to learn how love and embrace yourself, without relying on the validation of others.
1. Look yourself in the mirror and repeat words of love and affirmation to yourself. (e.g. you are beautiful/handsome; your eyebrows are on point; you're smart, you are kind, you are important; you are loved)
2. Plan a fun day/night with some friends and/or family (e.g. go out for some boba with your friends/cousins/siblings)
3. Make a list of at least 3 things you love about yourself (this can go in connection with the 1st one) (e.g. I love my hair; I love my humor; I'm respectful)
4. Be Selfish (do something that makes YOU happy) (e.g. go out for a bike ride; put on your headphones on blast and dance around in your room)
5. Wear something that makes YOU feel good (e.g. do your hair and makeup; wear a dress and some heels; wear your favorite pair of jeans, a fresh t-shirt, and some clean shoes)
These are a few things you can do to love on yourself and be okay without needing the validation of others.
Remember, you are loved, you are great, you are enough! Regardless of what anyone else may say!
