Propel Camp
A PROJECT BASED CAMP
Kent County Presents
Propel Camp is a week long experience for 8th-10th grade students to explore and DO science, technology, engineering, art, and math in real life. For four days, students will study projectile motion in a project based, high tech environment. Participants will then design and build machines like catapults and trebuchets that will be used to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts in a variety of competitions at the end of the week.
Propel Camp provides excellent opportunities for English language immersion and an environment that will foster friendships between students in Kent County and China.
Day/evening activities will include a trip to Michigan's Adventure Water Park and Amusement Park, a Whitecaps baseball game, and Craig's Cruisers activity center.
