Mrs. Walters News
Thank you so much to all the volunteers and our PTO members for helping our students pick gifts in our Secret Santa Shop! The kids had so much fun choosing special things- it's all we heard about around Bushnell!
The Kent County Health Department visited on Monday and Tuesday to screen our students for hearing and vision. If your child failed a portion of their test, you will be notified so you can follow up with your doctor.
Bushnell PTO wants you to nominate a favorite teacher! Click this link below to have your child vote using the google form. The winner will be announced next Friday and will receive a $50 Amazon card to be used in their classroom!
Next week we continue our winter break countdown with some fun (and easy!) dress up days. See the calendar below and of course this is completely optional!
Finally, do you have a child who will be 5 years old by September first and ready for kindergarten next fall? Lowell kindergarten registration will open on February 5th this year. You can start gathering documentation and learn about our enrollment process here.
Have a great weekend everyone!

News from the Wittenbach!
Attached is the December newsletter from the WWC with some highlights below. For more information on the events below please see the newsletter, attached flyers, or check the events tab on our Facebook page. *Dec 8-9-10 Luminary Hike at WWC! We are hopeful that we will have snow covered trails. It will make your walk in the woods that much more breathtaking! Please wear appropriate footwear to the hike. We will do our best to spread wood chips on the steepest slopes. Walking sticks or "yak tracks" are good solutions if conditions change.
- Trail length is 1 mile with an option to extend the walk with a 1/2+ mile loop through the Wege Natural Area Preserve. No dogs for this event please.
- VOLUNTEERS are needed! If you would like to volunteer for this event please follow the link to our sign up genius. Sign up to volunteer here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090E4EAEAF22ABFB6-46160096-2023#/
