Mustang Message
Back to School 2018-2019
Greetings From Dr. Mattingly
One new safety feature you will notice at Bridle Ridge is the addition of locking, double doors added to the east and west halls of our main entrance. This added feature creates an additional layer of security and protection for our students and staff and allows us to maintain the least amount of instructional disruptions as possible for your child.
I am also excited to announce that an Assistant Principal is joining our Administrative team this year. Scroll down to meet her and to read bios of new school family staff members joining us this year.
Parents, remember that all district registration begins this Wednesday and registering your child for the 2018-2019 school year is required. Registration details are located further down within this newsletter.
I hope you enjoy the last few weeks of summer and are able to soak up some sunshine, relaxation and memorable moments with family. I am wishing you well and I look forward to seeing you at registration next week.

Online forms will be available through July 31
Please complete your online registration forms before attending the central registration event on July 25 and July 31.

Email utility bill and complete forms online to obtain "Fast Pass"
Each year, when families register or enroll students, one document must be presented to verify residency. In most cases, the document is a utility bill in the resident's name.
Parents have the option to submit proof of residency by email. If you submit residency proof by email and complete online registration forms prior to July 22, you will receive a FastPass that can be shown at the Central Registration event. The FastPass will allow you to proceed directly to the room designated for your child's school. Read more

Check to make sure your child has the necessary immunizations
All students must present documentation of immunization status, including month, day, and year of each immunization before attending school.
- Kindergarten: Five immunizations
- Incoming 8th graders: Tdap and meningococcal. (The Tdap vaccine helps protect against 3 diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough. The Tdap vaccine may be documented as Adacel or Boostix.)
- High School: Two doses of meningococcal vaccine by 12th grade. In this two-series immunization, the first dose is given with the Tdap prior to 8th grade, and the final dose is required prior to the 12th grade year.
