Growing Resilient Kids

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County is raising awareness throughout the community about the importance of preventing, recognizing and reporting child abuse. It is estimated that for every adult trained in recognizing and reporting child abuse, 10 children are made safer. This evidenced-based training opportunity is geared toward equipping adults with essential information needed to protect their children.

Growing Resilient Kids is a parent training program that covers the reality of abuse for children, how to recognize abuse, talking to your child about their bodies, internet safety, and lastly, the responsibility to report. This parent training program is designed to educate and empower parents to support their efforts in growing resilient kids.
