News & Updates

Block Party Next week!

We hope your gators will join us NEXT Thursday (December 10th) for a block party before the basketball game-all proceeds will go to supporting Pulsera Project! Tickets will be sold at lunch next week! Tickets cost $5.00. There will be games, a photo booth, and snacks for sale as well! Thank you for supporting our service project!

We Need Your Help!

We need your help with donating snacks and drinks for the upcoming block party on December 10th. This will help us raise money for the Pulsera Project. Suggested snack items to donate include:

  • ** Prepackaged Little Debbies, brownies, Cosmic Brownies, etc.
  • Candy
  • Chips: Bags of pre-packaged snack-sized bags
  • 2-liter drinks--any flavor soda!

If you are able to send in snack donations, please have students bring them to Mrs. Palen's classroom.

Pulsera Sales This Week!

As part of the 7th grade house service project, the Pulsera sale will take place this week at lunch. Pulseras, or bracelets, are $5 each and all profits will be sent back to Nicaragua to support education and provide sustainable jobs.

Math & Accelerated Math: Quiz on Lessons 1.4 - 1.6 on Friday, December 4

ELA & Accelerated ELA: Students will continue work on a summative writing assignment this week--this is an argument essay based on the book Lyddie. Students will work on this daily up until the due date which is December 9th. They will turn in a completed graphic organizer on Wednesday, December 2 for a formative grade and a rough draft on Friday, December 4, for feedback (not graded).
