Principal's News
I can't help but think back to this time last year.....we were recently new to 'lock down' and Mother's Day was on it's way. There was no opportunity to book a reservation for a cafe or restaurant, no opportunity to host extended family celebrations and online shopping proved incredibly popular! Our house certainly looked a little different to our usual celebrations of such special days in the year.
Our day was quiet. It was spent enjoying one another's company, cooking together and going for a walk chatting to our amazing neighbours as we walked by. Our day was spent focusing on our family and the time we spent together. Whilst there was 'bits' of the old that we missed there was also 'bits' of the new that we liked.
Our lives are very much like that when I think about it. Changes and new chapters opening all the time, chances for us to experience some new ways of doing things whilst still appreciating the old. We are constantly growing, changing and learning new things. Each experience, each chapter, each moment, shaping us as we prepare for the next.
This Sunday, may you and your family take some time to thank those important women in your lives, those who have helped to shape and grow you. Those special people who love you unconditionally and are always there for you.
As we thank our mothers and special women on Sunday I pray that we can also thank God for His role in our lives. His unconditional love and support, like that of our mother's, grandmothers and special friends helps to shape us and grow us. How lucky we are to know that wherever we go, whatever we do, His love goes with us.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mum's in our community!
