SRL Book Talk Success
- Juliet Zabel is looking forward to reading Dig because it provides different perspectives of multiple characters.
- Renee Yunker is interested in Unpunished Murder because it is a story that must be told.
- Christy Rush recommends getting Bloom because it is a great addition for libraries in need of graphic novels and LGBT friendly material.
- Leigh Cavanaugh shares that Startalk is a text that students can go to for quick inspiration.
- Brittany Jacobs is intersted in Hey Kiddo because it seems to be a very relatable topic.
- Terry McHugh recommends Blacklisted because the parallels between the Hollywood "Communist" era and today are compelling.
Special Thank you to Our Members
“To the Members of the Secondary Reading League,
Thank you for your very generous support of the Illinois Reads Book Festival. Thanks to your volunteers and your financial support, the festival remained free of charge, and students received books!
Sincerely,
