The Science Behind Snowshoes!
Mrs. Worm and Ms. Mohn (a Naturalist in Residence from Richardson Nature Center) will be taking 4th grade science classes snowshoeing next week!
We will learning about why we use snowshoes, how they help, and how they have evolved over the years!
What Do You Need?
Every student needs:
- Winter Jacket
- Hat/Ear Band
- Gloves/Mittens
- Snow pants
- Snow Boots
We are looking for: Any family that may have extras of the above items! We always have a few friends who forget or are without warm gear and need a few extras that could be borrowed for the day! If you are willing to send some in it is greatly appreciated!
Would You Like to Help Out?
This is a fabulous opportunity to help out in class. We would love to have you join us from 1:30-2:40pm if you are available. Job includes helping students get snowshoes on and taking a set of snowshoes for a spin yourself!
