What we are learning this week:
I can ask questions about topics of class-wide interest. (with adult assistance)
I can ask and respond to questions about texts read aloud. (literal questions)
I can decide what sources or people in the classroom, school, library, or home can answer these questions. (with adult assistance)
I can edit drafts by leaving spaces between letters and words.
I can plan a first draft by generating ideas for writing through class discussion.
I can dictate or write information for lists, captions, or invitations.
I can use knowledge of letter-sound relationships to decode VC, CVC, CCVC, CVCC words in and out of text
Math - I can collect, sort, and organize data into two or three categories.
I can Use data to create real-object and picture graphs.
I can draw conclusions from real-object and picture graphs.
Social Studies-I can explain why people have jobs.
I can explain why technology is important
Science - I can use the senses as a tool of observation to identify properties and patterns of organisms in the environment.
I can differentiate between living and nonliving things based upon whether they have basic needs and produce offspring.
