Don't forget, families need to select their student’s learning option for 2nd semester—either in-person at the school or digital learning at home.
Families will indicate their choice in an online survey in the Parent Portal. Families can make changes to their selection up to 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 15, when the selection process closes.

UPDATE TO BIRTHDAY TREATS Policy
If you would like to celebrate your in-person student's birthday at school, you now have two ways to do this:
- Send in individually PREPACKAGED treats 24 hours in advance. The treat will be distributed to the class the following day.
- Send in money to purchase ice cream for the class! Ice cream costs $1 each and is an easy way to celebrate birthdays.
Please contact your student's teacher if you have any questions.

Reminder from the Brookwood Cafe'
The school district has extended its curbside pick-up program for free meals to five days a week instead of four. Meals may be picked up at Brookwood Elementary for digital learners and any child under the age of 18, Monday through Friday, between 12 and 1 p.m. The pick-up each day includes both breakfast and lunch. For safety reasons, individuals are not allowed to enter the school to pick up or eat meals.
We also would like to remind you that Gwinnett County Public Schools is offering meals at no charge at school sites to all students—both digital learners and those attending in-person—through December. These meals are provided at no cost to the individual through the federal School Nutrition Program. The school district encourages families who are eligible for the Free & Reduced Meal Program to fill out the annual application to ensure meal benefits continue after that time. The application is available on the GCPS website or at https://www.nlappscloud.com/.
