What is the excretory system?
The Excretory system is a passive body that removes excess wastes from an organism. This system includes the kidneys, ureter, the bladder, and urethra. It maintains the amount of water and dissolved liquids in you body. This is called osmoregulation. Osmoregulation is the process of how the body gets rid of its wastes.
Important Parts of the Excretory System
Kidneys
The kidneys are located on either side of the spine, just below the rib cage . Your kidneys make urine, removes wastes and extra fluid from your blood
Uterers
It is a pipe that connects the the kidneys to the urinary bladder.
Urinary bladder
This holds all of your urine and expands when the kidney creates more.
