ABOUT SALT:
The Student Athlete Leadership Team strives to improve leadership skills among our student athletes, while helping to enhance energy and enthusiasm into Towson High School Athletics.
Members will help coordinate guest speakers, spirit events, volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, and service learning opportunities. Our members will discuss various topics that impact student athletes today and will provide a forum for student athletes to voice suggestions on how to enhance the overall athletic experience for all our student athletes at Towson High School.
Although membership does not include all our student athletes, those who have been chosen to be a part of it are clear leaders who are actively engaged in the community and have proven to be excellent examples to others.

Allied Soccer News:
The Towson allied soccer team concluded their season last night at the annual pumpkin bowl with an outstanding finish! Simone, Josey, Patrick, Luke, and Kyle played their hearts out. Cierra played her final minutes as a senior on the field with unstoppable defense against the west division champions-new town. Towson also took on Owings Mills and Lansdowne which both ended in a tie. The team was awarded the Ron Belinko sportsmanship Cup, as voted on by all the coaches, referees and director for their incredible sportsmanship and for truly encompassing the spirit of allied soccer. This is the first time the allied soccer team has been awarded this honor. Congratulations Generals!
Cross Country News:
Baltimore County Championship:
Sam Fields won the gold medal in 17 minutes 10 seconds to lead the Junior Varsity Boys Cross Country team to the Baltimore County Championship. Miles Kline, Daniel Melia, Mason Cloyd, Colin Hughes, Colin Freas (Freeze) and Guthrie Specht all finished in the top 26 to seal the win.
Nalani Mumm, Emmie Demshak-Geddes, Alessandra Crippa, and Malia Gutierrez all finished in the top 10 to lead the JV Girls Cross Country team to second place at the Baltimore County Championships. Blythe Petit, Lydia Lesnevich, and Julia Kallaur also notched top 15 finishes for the Junior Lady Generals.
Peter Sorensen took the sixth place, followed by Cory Parts in sixteenth and Drew Conboy in nineteenth, to lead the Boys Cross Country team to third place at Counties. Nathaniel Lechtzin and Sam Ganas also scored for the Generals and Mohamed Badwi was the top Open finisher.
Madeline Till placed seventh, followed by top 20 finishes from Maggie Grandsire, Sylvie Wolff, Avery Zellweger, and Anna Vaikness to take third place in the Varsity Girls Race at Counties last Saturday.Tamar Ziv were the top Towson finisher the Girls Open Race.
3A Regional:
The Varsity Cross Country teams will compete in the 3A North Regional Championships tomorrow at the Baltimore County Agricultural Resource Center, 1114 Shawan Rd, Hunt Valley MD.

Congrats to our Tournament Medalists. Girls singles, bronze medal: Izzy Sabatino. Boys doubles: silver medal to Philip Guasa and Justin Trinh and a bronze to Yanjie Zhang and Bill Zhao. Mixed doubles silver medal to Laura Reus & Kenneth Wang. Good job!

The Generals play Lansdowne on Friday (11/2) starting at 2:15 pm at Towson. The winner will get to play for the 3A North Regional title.

The Generals (7-2) take on Pikesville on Saturday for their final game of the year. JV will play at 11am and Varsity will play at 2 pm. Hope to see you there to celebrate our wonderful senior class.

Details:
Register now for our free Kelly Post/Towson High School coaches clinic. Shawn Burke, THS boys lacrosse head coach, and his staff are offering a free skills clinic for our middle school and high school lacrosse players.
The clinic will be held Sunday, November 18th from 1PM - 2:30PM on the THS Turf.
Our boys will get a chance to interact with a great coaching staff, learn some lacrosse skills, and help build a deeper lacrosse community in Towson.
