8th Grade Transition To High School
It’s that time of year that we begin to start planning for our 8th graders transition to high school. If you have an older child and have been through this, you are probably more at ease than a parent who is approaching this transition for the first time. Our 8th graders often feel great anticipation and excitement as they make the last major transition within their K-12 education. We hope that the information below eases any questions that you might be having. The MVMS Counselors and HS Counselors are here to help and guide you and your 8th grader through this transition.

PUSD Survey
An email was sent out yesterday detailing the survey currently being performed by PUSD to gather input on PUSD’s Local Control Accountability Plan, or LCAP, which shapes the District’s goals and guides our budgeting priorities. Your participation is crucial and valued. You will be asked to respond to one question: “What things do we need to focus on to ensure our students are college, career, and life ready?”
Click here to get started: https://my.thoughtexchange.com/#p915330432
The survey period will end on February 14, 2020. If you need online access, stop by the front office, where you can complete the survey on a computer there.
