Simple Sentences
Simple Sentences needs one piece of information that makes sense on it's own.
EX: She changed the light bulb. She didn’t like fixing things
Compound Sentences
Compound Sentences needs two simple sentences and a conjunction.
Ex. She changed the light bulb but she didn't like fixing things.
Complex Sentences
Complex Sentences begin with a conjunction and the ideas are separated with a comma.
Ex: She was a great English teacher. She couldn't change a light bulb safely.
Then it changes to Although she was a great English teacher, she couldn't change a light bulb safely. We linked them and used a conjunction and a comma.
