Outdoor School Lessons and Topics

The lessons typically being taught during synchronous time with students are: Observations, Forest Succession, Forest Ecology, Adaptations, FBI (Fungi, Bacteria, Invertebrates), and a combined Water+Salmon lesson. Sometimes, one or two of those lessons may be substituted by one of our instructors with the Fractals and/or Leaves lesson, if an instructor really enjoys teaching students about Fractals or Leaves.

#2 = Forest Succession (Tues)

#3 = Adaptations (Wed)

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO SUPPORT OUTDOOR SCHOOL VIRTUALLY!

Next week your student will work with Outdoor School staff and engage in hands-on, inquiry-based learning as if your student had attended Outdoor School.

Please ask your student to show you their green Outdoor School bag (pictured on the left).

We will be sending you links to all learning activities and videos next week.
