Hello Westside Families! Your children did such a wonderful job at school this week with their expectations and learning. Thank you for your continued partnership for their educational journey.

Last week our students discussed the character trait of ENTHUSIASM during Class Convention. Be sure to ask them about it! This week, we are diving into the meanings of EXTRA EFFORT and PERSEVERANCE. Start your 'how was your day' or dinner conversations with "how did you show extra effort/perseverance/enthusiasm today?"

Per BPS Guidelines, if your child is not feeling well, please keep them home. Masks are optional but recommended to help prevent the spread of germs. We are continuing our efforts to social distance when possible and deep clean all learning environments.

Although all students receive free breakfast and lunch this year under the USDA Meal Flexibility Waiver, we also received grants, special funding, and Title 1 eligibility for having a certain percentage of students that qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch.
