FASTBridge Screener
During the first two weeks back from break, students will all take a screener in Math and Reading. This will take place during Academic Success time, and will not have a need for a special schedule on those days. If you have any questions, please contact the Friedell Office!
High School Transition Information
We did our best to send out information specific to your situation prior to break. The information in this newsletter is general information. If you have questions, please contact the Friedell office! Students will be attending the events for the school that they are geographically assigned to attend. If you have questions about that process, you will need to contact Mr. Lundak, Friedell Principal.
For all parents and guardians, we would like to again share the link to the online registration class guide: http://catalog.rochester.k12.mn.us/app/web/index.xhtml That link is a great resource in having discussions with your student.

Communication Change!
We have been having some struggles with our communication methods over the past few months. With this, we wanted to make you aware of a change in our communication patterns. Most families are used to Friedell sending emails from Skyward as our main delivery method. This will be changing, and has been changing, to meet the needs of information arriving to the most parents possible. We will be using a similar system, but please note that communication will be a little different moving forward.
If you have questions, please contact the office for support!
Hy-Vee Cash for Students!
New Year = New Start
With the new year, it is often best to think of this as a new start to the year. Yes, most things are up and running, but it is a great time to connect with your student about school supplies. Think of this as a new start to the year! Does your student have:
- Pencils
- Ear Buds (that plug in, not wireless)
- Facial Tissue
- Permanent Markers
- Highlighters
- Sanitizing Wipes
Take a moment to connect with your student about any needs! Teachers are always willing to take donations of Facial Tissue (Kleenex) or Sanitizing Wipes to keep things clean and healthy during the winter germ season!
