Q: Can we keep the old teacher laptops on our campus?
A: No
Q: How do I log in to my neisd Google Account?
A: Username: your entire NEISD e-mail address, Password Default: ne###### with the #s being your Employee ID. If that does not work submit a help ticket for password reset.
Q: My Skydrive says it is not ready yet
A: The first time you login to Skydrive you must go through Internet Explorer. After that it works with any browser.
Q: How do I find out what software will be available for the new laptops?

Q: What will happen to classroom computers?
A: They will be reimaged to work with the new network drives.
Q: Where do I find my favorites to back them up?
A: They are in My Computer --> C drive --> users --> your username
Q: Will I have instant messaging on my new computer?
A: Yes
Q: Will I have internet access as soon as I get my new laptop?
A: Yes
Q: Can I install a local printer?
A: It depends on the printer driver. Some will install and some will not. Plug in the local printer and see if it connects.
Q: Can I purchase my own CD/DVD Drive?
A: Yes, but it will not allow you to install software from CDs.
