Help for the Holidays

Join Cornell University Class Councils for Help for the Holidays!

The Class of 2019 Council is super excited to announce its first ever Help for the Holidays!! Help for the Holidays will be a gathering of different student organizations on campus with the intent of raising awareness for and serving philanthropies of all kinds.

Organizations will register tables and host various philanthropy related events. Make-a-wish, Operation Smile, Cornell NROTC and more will be present and will be facilitating activities to benefit their philanthropies.

Class Council will have their own table and will be raffling off swag from the Cornell Store. All proceeds generated from raffle ticket sales will benefit our philanthropy, The St. Francis Xavier Orphanage in Haiti, which works to provide children with food, education, and housing.

The concept of the event is that while each group present may ask a small monetary or participation based donation, we as a collective can gather with a purpose and help a wide array of causes this holiday season.

Admissions to the event is free and there will be food, a DJ, and other fun things in store. Come celebrate the end of a great semester and the start to a warm holiday season with charity!

Cornell University Class Councils

Cornell University Class Councils (CUCC) is one of the only organizations on campus where every student is a member. CUCC’s mission is to foster a sense of unity and pride within each of Cornell University’s four undergraduate classes, as well as Cornell as a whole, during the four years students are on campus. The sense of unity and pride is fostered through a series of events and programming designed to appeal to the diverse nature of our campus community.
