Want the experience of a lifetime?
Consider an adventure on Everest
Those who have climbed the mountain claim it is unlike anything they have ever experienced.
Bill Burke, who has climbed the mountain 5 times since his first summit, says "when I am on the mountain, I feel like I am standing on sacred ground. It has become part of me, part of who I am." Bill is not the only one who has fallen in love with Everest, over 2,000 people have successfully climbed the mountain since 1953 and to this day, that number continues to grow.
If you choose to take the thrilling trip of climbing this beautiful mountain, there are many things you should know and things you need. The cost for the trip is $65,000, this cost includes meals, oxygen, and a minimal amount of gear (includes complementary Alpine Ascents Expedition Down Parka, $170 value). Information about the gear can be found on our website, www.mountainmadness.com/adventureeverest. All other gear will need to be purchased on your own. Suggestions are also included on our website. In addition to the cost, you should also be aware of the risks, which include frostbite, hypothermia, snow blindness, and Acute Mountain Sickness. In order to prevent the likeliness of acquiring one of these, training is recommended, as well as optimal health at the time of the hike. The time of the hike would be anywhere from April to May. We have many guides and try to make as many trips as we can to give those who want it, the true experience of a lifetime.
