Standardized Testing Important Dates
Testing will begin first week in May!
Every year, California students take several statewide tests. Over the next 6 weeks, your child may be taking one or more of the following: California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), and Physical Fitness Test assessments.
You are an important part of your child’s education. To help your child get ready for the test you can:
- Remind your student to bring their district-issued computer, charger, and headphones on testing dates.
- Talk about the test with your child. Make sure they are not scared or anxious.
- Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and a nutritious breakfast before testing.
Please click this link to see the schedule for the month of May. In addition, you will see a modified daily schedule in order to provide students with the optimal learning environment and time for testing.
Attendance Counts During Testing - Don’t Be Late!
Please make sure your child arrives at school on time during standardized testing in May. Students who are late to school will not be allowed into the classroom once testing begins and will need to be removed from class at a later time for make-ups. Please avoid removing your child from school during the testing window.
May Minimum Day Moved to Thursday, May 26th
