3 types of musical instruments

Why is some sound noise and some music?

Noise:a sound, especially one that is loud or unpleasant or that causes disturbance.

Music:vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.

Other: Music has a rhythm and melodies but noise can be anything.

How does an interment work?

An instrument creates sound when part of it vibrates rapidly. The column of air inside a wind instrument, the string of a string instrument, or the stretched skin of a drum all vibrate when played. This vibration produces sound waves in the air, which we hear as musical notes. You pizzicato or arco on some strings.

3 types of insterments

1.String: You strike the strings and it vibrates on the inside of the instrument

2.woodwind & brasswind: For the wind instruments there is 2 kinds, they are woodwind and brasswind. Woodwinds, the reed has to be wet to get the sound through after you blow, but if the instrument doesn’t need a reed there needs to be air pushed through the instrument at a certain angle and echoes through the tubing. In brass wind the air is supposed to be pushed fast and slow to get higher and lower pitches.

3.percussion: You shake pluck or crash together the instruments.
