Your inside scoop to ALL things 4th grade!

Sept. 25-29

Thank You

Thanks to all of you who were able to attend our GES PTA School and Community Activity Fair and Ice Cream Social last Thursday. We hope you enjoyed getting to know more about what the PTA does and had the opportunity to explore the various programs and opportunities available for GES parents to become involved. The 4th grade teachers appreciate your participation and support!

Teachers are wrapping up our beginning of the year conferences. Thank you for your time! We have enjoyed meeting with each of you and learning more about your children. If you have not scheduled a time with your child's teacher, you should be receiving a phone call this week.

There are only 10 days until the GES Auction items are due on THURSDAY OCTOBER 5TH and we need your help! We are asking each family to contribute something for our themed baskets to make this the most successful auction yet! Collection boxes are now in your child's classroom. Just send them to school with their items to be placed in the box. (Please note, donations of wine/beer cannot be dropped off at the school. Please contact your coordinator to arrange for pick up).

Ways to contribute:

*Ask a local business for a donation (or send us the name and contact information of someone you have in mind and we are happy to do it!)

*Purchase item(s) from the basket list

*Make a Cash or Gift Card donation

As a reminder the 4th Grade Basket Themes are: Tournament Weekend, Moms Just Wanna Have Fun, Harry Potter Mania, Dinner is Served on Main Street, The Total Wine Experience, and Try Your Luck!

There are still plenty of open spots to sign up on this link: Auction Sign Up
