Blake's Season of Kindness
Dec 2020
We do not want to forget about our 26 Days of Kindness so we will be doing something a little bit different this year. Thank you to Kerry Cowell and Amy Cuomo who have helped me organize this.
Choose a Kindness you can do this month
Choose one or more. Then make a post on the padlet and let us know what you did!
Read aloud - Week of Nov 30th
I have made a recording of this book and would like to kick off Kindness with each advisory watching this, and discussing. Discussion prompts are included here.
Lots of Choices - through the month of December
Each cluster will be receiving 5 picture books with a theme of kindness to read. These can be shared within the advisory anyway you would like.
Create - In January!
Students will now create their own picture book, using the slide show template provided below) with a theme of kindness. Students can work independently, with a partner or two. They can work within their advisories or within their clusters (I thought it would be nice if kids in school worked with kids remotely).
SHARE: All stories will be sent to the elementary schools to share with the students in grades K-3.
