What is Universal Education?
Universal education is universal access to education. It is the ability for all people regardless of ethnicity, gender, class, or physical or mental disabilities to have equal opportunities in education.
Class
People are considered poor if they are a family of 4 that earns less than $23,000 a year
Gender
For ever 100 boys not going to school, there are 117 girls
Finances
Dropout rates are 7 times higher in students with low incomes than students with higher incomes
Causes and Effects
There are a few causes of this issue such as poverty and transportation.
Also, some government rules do not allow some students to go to school because of disabilities, social class, gender, ethnicity, dangerous region, and war.
In addition, there are various positive effects of receiving an education. There is a higher chance of getting a job, knowledge earns money, there is a wider variety of job choices, and life becomes easier because there is more access to what you want.
