A Word about Field Day next Friday
Parents,
Please check your student's backpack. Most of them went home with flyers in their backpacks with a permission slip and the color of their team for Field Day. Permission slips must be returned next week and students are expected to wear a tshirt in their team color. If they didnt get their paperwork, it will be waiting for them in the classroom on Monday.
The 2019 Spring Concert was a huge success!
We are so grateful to everyone who came out on Thursday, May 23rd to enjoy our 2019 Spring Concert. The theme for the evening was Faith, Friends and Family. Guest enjoyed classic, beloved songs like Puff the Magic Dragon by Peter, Paul and Mary, You've Got a Friend by James Taylor, Let it Be by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and the timeless hymn Amazing Grace. Two students performed piano solos and we also enjoyed some more contemporary hits such as Baby Shark.
Thank you to Mr Abbondanzio for sharing your musical talents and for preparing our students to give such a moving performance. You could feel the love! And a special thank you to Mr. A's sweet family who has generously shared him with us this year!
Thank you to Becky Steele and all the nursing students at VCC for the Health Fair!
Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action started by the Department of Homeland Security. The campaign is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. The students really enjoyed this hands-on opportunity.

“Vermonters Helping Vermonters” event on June 5th at St. Michael’s College.
Come Help Us Fill the Gaps
Vermont Catholic Charities is holding a “Vermonters Helping Vermonters” event on June 5th at St. Michael’s College.
The event will feature tastings from Vermont breweries and wineries, food catered by the Old Lantern Inn, and live music will be provided by the Guitar Chant Trio.
Proceeds from the event will help Vermont Catholic Charities continue to fill the gaps for the most vulnerable Vermonters. By attending you will help emergency aid clients like “Kira”. Kira was a single mom working full-time and trying to make ends meet, when her hours were cut. She got behind on her rent and faced an eviction. Vermont Catholic Charities helped with rent so she could stay in her home. To learn more about the event and purchase tickets, visit vermontcatholic.org/vermontershelpingvermonters
