Yearbook News!

On January 28 during the last few minutes of block 1, the Yearbook staff will collect students' portraits. This year we're asking students to take the photo themselves, or have a family member take it, using their device (phone, iPad, or laptop). iPad users will need to use Safari as the browser. Students need to be school-portrait-ready on January 28. On that morning, the Yearbook staff will send out the link that students will use to take their portrait. Students will need to log in using their Student ID number. This can be located on Skyward. The Yearbook staff will reject photos that are not appropriate. This does not apply to students who have already emailed or uploaded a portrait for use in the yearbook. Students who enrolled at BMHS later than November 5 will not be able to log in. They can send a photo to bfink@sdb.k12.wi.us.

Early College Credit Program

The Early College Credit Program provides students an opportunity to take college courses while still in high school as approved by the School District of Beloit. All approved courses are paid for by the district (providing the student passes the course) or by the student if he or she fails the course. Students should review each college course catalog online to determine if he or she can take a selected course (prerequisites considered). Students will not be approved for courses comparable to those currently taught at BMHS.

The deadline to apply for a summer course is FEBRUARY 1st through the Early College Credit Program at a UW School and/or a Wisconsin Private College. There are no exceptions to the deadline date.

Please see links to applications below. ALL COURSES WILL BE TAUGHT ON YOUR APPROVED COLLEGE CAMPUS. All applications must be completed and emailed to Mrs. Angela Snow in the School Counseling Office by the February 1st deadline.
