The Christmas Edition

Merry Christmas to All, and to All a Good Night!

Today is the 23rd of December, here, in the eastern hemisphere, 16 hours ahead of PST. I've had a few days to disengage from the past month of busy-ness as I sit here recovering from a stomach bug. My family is off trekking Mt. Pinatubo volcano, one experience I will miss having done with them, but I am nonetheless grateful to have some time alone, in comfortable quarters, having everything I could ever need.

As I anticipate the months ahead, I am filled with both excitement and dread, but I know that the journey will be made light and joyful because of you, your children, and the professionals that I have the pleasure of working with each day.

I will not launch into our lists just yet, although I promise there will be many of those to come. I simply want to wish you a very Merry Christmas filled with lots of moments of light (light as in levity and light as in wonderment and awe). My hope for all of you is that your 2016 continues to be spent with those you love, making many happy memories that you will share over and over again in years to come.

I am grateful for your cooperation, your support, and your trust. Indeed, I am fortunate to be among you.

God's blessings of peace to you and your families!
