Beautiful part of Lincoln county, North Carolina.
Lincoln county was founded in 1779 and is named for Benjamin Lincoln, a general in the American Revolutionary war. This county is located in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. The bordering counties are: Catawba, Iredell, Mecklenburg, Gaston, Cleveland, and Burke. Lincolnton was established as the county seat of Lincoln county in 1785.

This small town is great for kicking back and relaxing. It has a lot of historical background too. You could take a tour of downtown Lincolnton , or just kick back at the community pool. Every summer month they hold a concert for local bands.
