Angell Yearbook Cover Design Contest
Calling all Angellfish!
This year’s Angell yearbook is in need of a cover! Can you help?
In honor of Angell’s 100th anniversary, all Angell artists are invited to design a yearbook cover that fits this year’s theme - Angell Elementary School: Celebrating 100 Years. One design will be selected to serve as this year’s yearbook cover. See contest rules below for more information:
Contest Rules:
All artwork must be submitted on unlined 8.5x11 (letter size) white paper.
Please keep all words/text toward the middle of the page (at least a ½ inch from the edge of your paper). This will ensure that no important words are cut off from your design.
All artwork must be original and hand-drawn by the student.
All design submissions must align with this year’s theme - Angell Elementary School: Celebrating 100 Years.
All entries must include:
The words "Angell Elementary School"
The year 2021-2022
The student’s first name, last name, and teacher’s name should be written on the BACK of the paper in pencil. Please do not write your name on the front of your design.
Tips for a good entry:
Fill the space with lots of color (including background).
Use the whole sheet of paper. The bigger the better! (Remember to keep your words at least a ½ inch from the edge of the page!)
Mix up your medium. Use one or more of the following: crayons, markers, oil pastels.
DEADLINE TO ENTER IS WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 19, 2022 - No entries will be accepted after this date. Please turn in cover art to the Angell office or your child’s teacher.
January is National Board of Education Month
