Orville Wright
Orville Wright was born on August 19, 1871 in Dayton, Ohio. He was mischievous and curious as a child. He died on January 30, 19 48 in Dayton, Ohio at the age of 78 because of his second heart attack.
Wilbur Wright
Wilbur was born April 16, 1867 in Melville Indiana. When he was younger he would play with his brother Orville. Their father brought them a toy airplane made of recycled parts
that inspired them to make the airplane. He died on May 30, 1912 in Dayton, Ohio at the age of 45.
Wright Family
- Their father was a bishop at a church.
- Their brother, Reuchlin, taught at an elementary school.
- Their brother, Lorin, married a woman named Ivonette and had 4 children.
- Their sister, Katharin, was the only one of the Wright children to finish college.
Adult Life
- Neither Orville or Wilbur married or had kids.
- Orville worked on the board of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics.
- Wilbur was diagnosed with Typhoid Fever
- Wilbur got sick on a trip to Boston and died after.
- Orville and Wilbur always shared shared credit for everything they made because they had a close relationship.

- We chose this inventor because what they invented was really important.
- WE though it would be fun t learn about them.
- We thought it was cool that 2 people worked together to invent 1 invention.
We think this invention is important because it helps people get to other places instead of taking another type of transportation that would take longer to get you some where.
