A Note From the Director
We survived the first full week of school!! Everyone is adjusting to the schedule and doing a great job getting back in the routines.
Thank you parents/grandparents for following our drop off and pick up procedures. Once the morning prayer begins at 8am parents will need to drop off at the office. This helps limit interruptions to the teachers and the children while they begin the morning routine.
Each class at ECDC has their own private Facebook page. Please contact your child's teacher for directions if necessary. This is where teachers will post photos/videos of your child's day as well as calendars, reminders, etc.

Early Dismissal/ Professional Development Day
Friday, September 2 is a Professional Development Day. We will start school at our regular time, but we will dismiss from the gym at 11:45. Your child does not need to bring lunch and there is NO aftercare on that day.
SHOW YOUR MARQUETTE SPIRIT!!
This week we will have our first Spirit Dress days! Spirit Dress is school wide on the first Friday of each month. Since some of the ECDC students do not come to school on Fridays, we also participate on Thursday.
On Spirit days your child can wear any Marquette t-shirt on these days. T-shirts are available here in the Marquette spirit store. We also have $5.00 tshirts available in the ECDC office (shirts that say ECDC can be worn any day as a uniform). There will be many more opportunities throughout the year to buy fun shirts.
ECDC students can wear any color bottom on Spirit Dress days. School shoes and socks are required every day for the safety of the children while playing on the playground.
Pizza lunch on Wednesdays
ECDC students enjoyed their pizza lunch on Wednesday, but they were still hungry! In the future pizza lunches will be two slices and there is an increase in charge. If you already ordered for September, the changes in charges will be made for you. Sorry for any inconvenience and please reach out to me if you have any questions. The last day to order lunch for September is August 29th.

Trivia Night
It's that time of year...Trivia Night is set for Friday, Sept. 23! Benefiting the RISE Program (Religious Inclusive Student Education), this year's event will once again take place outside in the Marquette parking lot. The night will be full of fellowship, fun, and trivia. And don't forget about the Cram Session featuring cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and trivia prep starting at 6:00 p.m.

Approved Pick Up List
Please use your RenWeb account to update your Approved Pick Up List. Add any people to your list who are allowed to pick up your child. Remind friends and family they may be asked for their ID when picking up your child. It is important for families to keep this list current and accurate so our staff can enforce safety protocols.
Instructions for adding approved individuals:
- Login to your RenWeb account
- Select School
- Select Web Forms
- Select Family Demographic Form
- Select Transportation Form (add to Approved Transportation Form)
Note: The Family Demographic Form is also the place to update contact information, allergies, medical conditions, and emergency contacts. Please ensure this information stays current during the year.
