Hi All,
All (teachers and support staff) are welcome. Even if you can't make it to every meeting, please consider joining.
- Topic #1: what is our purpose for grading?
- First meeting: the week of March 9th
Meetings will likely take place prior to school (7:15 am) or right after school (3:30 pm). However, I am open to considering times within the school day if they don't interrupt our work to help students learn the essential standards.
If you're interested in learning more please email me.
In partnership - Kurt
Budgets Closing Soon
- I will provide each department with the most up-to-date budget amounts ASAP.
- I will only approve items that are essential to the successful completion of the year.
- Materials ordered in this fiscal year MUST be received and used within this school year.
- "What if I don't spend down my entire budget- will my budget be reduced next year?" No, budgets are not decreased based on the amount left unspent. It's rare that we reduce department budget amounts and that won't happen without a discussion with the impacted department.
- I'll keep you posted on the specific timeline in the near future.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
-Kurt
