Hispanic Heritage Month Essay Contest
You can pick up the entry forms and the rules in the library.
Last year we had a 1st place winner who won a laptop. Let's see if we can get another student to write a winning essay.
Boxtops for Education
We are collecting BoxTops to raise money for new window blinds for the library. So far we are 3/4 of the way to our goal. With your help we can reach our goal by the November collection deadline. Please tell your students to collect BoxTops and please remember to collect them yourselves. Thank you. Together we can achieve our goal. LMS is also a beneficiary of Target's Take Charge for Education Program. If you shop at Target and use a Target Credit Card, you can designate LMS to receive a donation from Target. Our school ID is 73726.
Book Fair
The Book Fair is coming! LMS Library will be hosting a Fall Book Fair October 8th- October 19th. This is the perfect opportunity for your students to purchase books for free independent reading. We are scheduling classes now. Please sign up to bring your Language Arts class to the Fair. Classes only need to be at the Fair for a few minutes to preview and then individual students may return to purchase books on a later day.
