Impact Aid DEADLINE-NOV. 2nd

Help us determine the amount of federal funds MCS qualifies to receive from the program, which is designed to lessen the impact of federal activity on the budgets of school districts when parents are on active duty or live or work on certain federal properties. Are you thinking about those blue cards? Not this year! We are piloting an electronic survey in PowerSchool. Simply follow the provided instructions to complete a separate “Impact Aid Parent-Pupil Survey 2022” for each student in your household before the November 2 deadline. We appreciate your cooperation in the past and want you to know that since 1999, we’ve received nearly $5 million in Impact Aid funds and another $13 million in grant funds – ALL because of this survey and your cooperation.

WorkKeys assessment

ALL SENIORS- Wednesday, November 2nd

We need all seniors to participate in the assessment. Seniors will be released after the administration of the test. Seniors will receive an exemption based on the score in levels silver, gold, or platinum. Additionally, many places of employment require a certain score level on the WorkKeys before employment is offered. It is a great investment in a test. Good luck!!

Madison City Schools Seal of Biliteracy

Applications for the Madison City Schools Seal of Biliteracy will go live beginning Monday, October 24th and end November 4th for fall semester testing. Go to the MCS website and apply online.

Fees can be paid to Ms. Shratter in C220. For any questions, go see Ms. Shratter.
