Welcome back Tigers!

WCHE welcomed 794 students today for our first day of school! Thank you to our teachers, support staff, parents, volunteers and all of our wonderful students for making today so successful. This day went fast and I'm sure we are all ready for a good night's sleep. Get some rest everyone, we are ready for another great day of learning tomorrow!


Don't forget our new car rider drop off locations (see below for details) and avoid parking on Cypress Ranch Blvd. in the morning. We appreciate all you do to help us get off to a great start each day!

School Dismissal Manager- Please update your account today!

Parents should have received an email yesterday from School Dismissal Manager. The communication provides instructions and login information so that you can set your child(ren)'s usual transportation home in the afternoons (default transportation,) you can report absences, and you can also update transportation changes, as needed.


We still have many parents who have not updated this information, which hinders our ability to get students to the correct locations efficiently. Please take a moment to login and update your child's permanent mode of transportation and any exceptions for the first week of school, if you haven't done so already. We appreciate your patience today as we work to verify all of your information.


The login information will appear at the bottom of the communication. School Dismissal Manager is THE way to notify WCHE teachers and staff how your child(ren) are going home each day.


If you have any questions about SDM, please feel free to reach out to the front office staff at 512-533-7500. Changes to your child's dismissal should be made by 1:45.

Arrival and Dismissal Campus Maps- Check out our changes!

We've modified our arrival and departure locations this year to better accommodate our growing student population and to make the arrivals and departures as convenient as possible. Our number 1 goal is student safety, but number 2 is parent satisfaction. Our arrival map shows some of the improvements made for this year's student arrival. Please remember that students should be at their desks, ready to start the school day, at 7:40 am.


The departure map also includes improvements made to facilitate safe and expedient departures at the end of the school day at 2:55 pm.


You will receive an email communication from us through School Dismissal Manager. School Dismissal Manager is the program that we use to administer information concerning students' transportation home at the end of each school day. It also can be used by parents to report student absences to us, tardies, and/or students' early departures during the school day. Watch for the communication from School Dismissal Manager. It's coming soon.
