Detective Dan Jackman is a 17 year veteran of the Louisville Metro Police Department. He has investigated incidents of child sexual exploitation for the past 9 years and currently assigned to the Cyber Crime Task Force with the FBI. Detective Jackman has received National recognition for his investigations and has been the key note speaker at several conferences. A Christmas Experience Every Child should have!
To bless Alex and thousands of other children like him, Cross Catholic Outreach was inspired to create A Box of Joy. Their goal is to mobilize American Catholics to send Christmas presents to the poorest children they serve, giving Alex and other poor children delight of experiencing God's love through the cherished Christmas tradition of gift giving.
The gifts you send will have a profound impact, showing desperately poor children they have value and have reason for hope. The encouragement and love are as meaningful as whatever the gift itself contains.
Last but not least, A Box of Joy strengthens the Catholic mission of the dedicated priests and nuns, and fulfills our Holy Father's call to action, drawn from the parable of the sheep and goats found in Matthew 25. As Pope Francis expressed it: "...we will be judged by God on charity, on how we have loved our brothers and sisters, especially the weakest and most needy of them."
Please send in any of the items below that you can. Our 8th graders are using this as a service opportunity and will be filling boxes with donated items. Thanks in advance for your help!
