Promoting STEAM through Makerspaces
Igniting the 4 C's of CA Standards at your Campus
Calling ALL NMUSD Teachers, Administrators, and Librarians / Media Clerks!
Do you want to promote innovation and prepare students to be 21st Century learners? This training is for you! The Department of EdTech Team wants to partner with schools in creating learning spaces called Makerspaces. See the description below to learn more. Pre-requisite technology skills include a curious mind! Attendance does not require further commitment, but prizes will be raffled to attendees who sign up for a 1:1 meeting with the EdTech Team to determine further interest. We are looking for a pilot school willing to take on the challenge of creating a Makerspace over the 2016-2017 school year, to be funded by the EdTech Department. Opportunities for paid summer projects will be available.
