Writing a Summary
Watch the Summary Lesson and learn about Summarizing.
How to write the best summary ever!
Writing a summary of what you have read builds your comprehension (understanding) of what you have read. Writing a summary is like retelling the story. By following the elements of plot (exposition, rising action, climax, falling actions, and resolution) you tell the important information from the story.
