MAP testing has started for our second session.
Map testing overflow parking
During MAP testing, we know that parking may be tricky. Our generous neighbors across the street, including Dog Tire Doggie Daycare and Journey Home, have graciously allowed us to use some of their parking spaces during MAP testing sessions. Please see the diagrams below to know which parking spots are available. Thank you for your attention and cooperation to this matter as we try and streamline our testing procedures.

Journals
The teacher/parent reviews the entry to see if the student has gained an understanding of the topic, lesson, or concept that was taught. Did they achieve the learning target?
This can also serve as a source of notes for review for quizzes or exams. Students can also see their learning over time and are often amazed at all the concepts and new information they learned at the end of the semester or year.

Happy Chronister will lead a learning activity to help students understand how the availability of sunlight, water and minerals in the soil impacts the growth of trees. We will make an evergreen centerpiece with greenery and red roses.
Grades K - 12 welcome. Students under 10 should have parent supervision and please leave younger, non-participating siblings at home.
When: Thursday, December 14, 3:00-4:00 pm
Where: Dimond Greenhouses - 1050 West Dimond Blvd., Anch. 99515
(Access by going east on Dimond, between Minnesota and C Street. It is up on a hill with the driveway just before a coffee shack. Shoot for arriving at 2:50 so we start on time.)
Cost: $25 for suppplies - Requisitions only to be put under a science or art class in the OLS. Find the "field trip" tab to the far right after the supplies/vendor services/non-profits tabs.
