WBHS hosts "See Us" program

West Bloomfield High School recently presented "See Us" in conjunction with the school's Mentorship Group and the African American Awareness Club. The program focused on creating a dialogue surrounding a variety of topics through breakout presenters.

Breakout presenters included:

  • Greg Jones, MSU football alum and Super Bowl Champion - "Growing and Succeeding Despite Your Circumstances"
  • Prof. Kefentse Chike, Wayne State University - "Learning OUR Story"
  • Kenyon McElway - "Using Your Creative Gifts"

The day's festivities were kicked off with a keynote presentation from Kalimah Johnson focusing on harnessing your strength.

Around 60 students from Plymouth-Canton Schools were also in attendance for the presentations and offered their experiences during group discussion.
