The Lincoln Lightning
"Your SPARK of information!"
September 10th, 2021
I hope this message finds you doing well and settling in as you develop your new school year schedules. Routines and procedures create a sense of security and safety for our children, and over the past two weeks, we have been working diligently to remind students of how they show their SPARK at Lincoln Elementary. For families new to our Lincoln community, SPARK stands for...
S - Scholarly Students
P - Prepared and On Task
A - Act Responsibly
R - Respectful of Others
K - Kind with Words and Actions
This year we will emphasize ways each child can Find their SPARK as Lincoln Ignites Learning! We are committed to supporting each child and family. We will strive to create an inclusive learning community where every student feels they are valued and belong.
Have a wonderful weekend and make sure to mark your calendars for our Back to School BBQ! One more week until this exciting tradition continues!
Be well,

Lincoln's Fall BBQ
Hi everyone, as the end of the school year approaches, we wanted to let you know about an exciting event that will occur at the beginning of next school year. Yes, the Lincoln BBQ will return! It will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 from approximately 5 pm to 7 pm on the school grounds. It will be a great time to get reacquainted with each other at the beginning of the school year, and enjoy our new school. The Tosa East marching band has already committed to attending, and of course we will have delicious food prepared by the dads of Lincoln. Thank you to the Lincoln PTO for sponsoring this great event.
If any dads would like to volunteer, please contact me at bfoley8142@gmail.com or 414-477-9132.
Thanks!
Brad Foley
Dad of Jacob, 5th grade
