Disciples of Christ

Greetings from the Happy Room,

Today was the last day of our MAP testing. The students have been real troopers and have worked very hard. If your child missed a test, we'll do make ups next week. I look forward to using the data from these tests to set individual student goals.

You have been contacted by the SMART committee about fifth grade involvement in the family night. Fifth graders hold up the items for the live auction. This is always special and fun. They will have plenty of time to enjoy all the children's activities before the live auction begins. Please contact Roberta McGill for more details. I look forward to seeing all the super heroes on Saturday night.

Wreath sales are going well. We have achieved and exceeded our first goal of 58 wreaths sold (62). We are now trying to sell a total of 122 wreaths by Monday. Thanks for all your efforts to support your student so far.

You will find your scheduled conference time in this Thursday's envelope. Please contact me as soon as possible if you cannot make the scheduled time, and I'll do my best to find a time that works. I look forward to meeting with you as we work together to make this a safe, kind, productive, and holy fifth grade year.

Pax,

Mrs. Getchman
