This is the link to the semester exam schedule. Exams may not be taken early for any reason, unless specified on a child's 504 or IEP. Leaving early for vacation is not an acceptable reason; the exam will need to be taken upon return from break.

We are interested in creating a career day for all Jackson High School Students, and we need your help. Would you be interested in volunteering to be on an in-person presentation panel to share your career? The goal is to help students see what classes, on the job training, and personal and professional choices helped you get to where you are now. Please complete the following form if you are interested: Community Career Showcase

The Ohio Department of Health requires that all students in grades 9 and 11 be screened for vision and hearing. For the 2022-2023 school year, Vision and hearing screenings for 11th grade will be conducted during their English classes and 9th grade vision and hearing screenings will be conducted during World History. Screenings are to be completed by December 2022.

The vision screening will test distance visual acuity, and the hearing screen will test conductive hearing loss. Parents/Guardians will be notified by mail of any failures for both vision and hearing screenings.

Thank you to all of our students for doing a great job in complying with our ID badge policy again this week.

Please remember that if you forget your student ID badge, you will need to report to the TLC immediately to get a temporary badge for the day. Students who forget their badge on multiple occasions will be given consequences.

Thank you for helping us in our efforts to keep our building safe and secure by wearing your ID badge at all times. Thank you!

If you think you could qualify for free and reduced lunch status it is IMPORTANT that you fill out the application. In addition to free and reduced meals, your child(ren) may qualify for additional cost waivers for college entrance exams and other school fees.

We are pleased to be able to offer The Backpack Food Program, in partnership with RiverTree Jackson. This is a service for families in the Jackson Local School district with students in K-12. The goal of this program is to send home a variety of easy, ready-to-eat meals and snacks for your child to have over the weekend. There is absolutely no cost to our families to join this program. The bags will be delivered to your child’s school weekly, and sent home with students on the last day of the week that students are in school, usually Fridays.

Our first distribution will take place on Thursday, September 8. You may choose to participate at any time, but registration is needed by the Thursday of the week before, so for the first week, the deadline would be on Thursday, September 1.

This program is intended for families whose children are eligible for free/reduced meals. However, we understand some families may not be eligible for the free/reduced meal program, but are still in need of food. If you would like to opt in, please fill out the google form linked below (one for each student). Please know, all information you share with us is kept in the strictest confidence.

To apply to be part of the Backpack Food Program, all you need to do is fill out the quick application form by clicking the link below: (one for each student). Please know, all information you share with us is kept in the strictest confidence.
